reaction to the assignment was unanimously unfavourable.

SECOND RESEARCH OBJECTIVE

Question 12 -13

The second research objective required participant to list the challenges encountered as a result of
rotation. For the purpose of the data analysis, the findings from all of the responses of the managers
surveyed were summarized and grouped into the following categories:

 No guidance.
 Difficulty adjusting to the new environment.
 Heavy workload
 No answer provided.

Out of the total sample, three participants (27%) indicated that information was withheld and that
no guidance was provided to them to function in the new department, three participants (27%)
indicated that they had difficulty adapting to a new environment, one participant (9%) complained
about the heavy workload while one participant (9%) indicated that there was no challenge upon
encountered. Additionally, it must be noted that three participants (27%) did not answer this
question.

THIRD RESEARCH OBJECTIVE

Questions 14 - 15

The third research objective required participant to list the benefits encountered as a result of
rotation. For the purpose of the data analysis, the findings from the responses of the rotated
mangers were grouped into the following categories:

 Skill diversity
 Accelerated development
 Gained more insights into the processes of the GRA.

Out of the total population, seventy percent (70%) of the respondents indicated that as a result of
Management Rotation, they were able to acquire experience. Twenty percent (20%) of the
population indicated that as a result of Management Rotation, they were able to learn new things.
Additionally, out of the total sample of eleven (11) persons, one person indicated that he benefitted
in terms of personal development as a result of Management Rotation. Commented [DN1]: Even if persons participate in a study
or survey, it is not inaccurate to describe to the view of 1
person as representing the view of 50% of the participants;
one person might not like it, while another may; but neither
is incorrect or a reason for a red mark or failing a paper
