How Can Affect The Technology To The Environment

Technology can negatively impact the environment through pollution from daily activities like electricity use and transportation, as well as industrial emissions and waste. However, technology can also benefit the environment through recycling, developing renewable energy sources, more efficient transportation, and systems that reduce chemical and energy waste. While some environmental technologies are still in development, technology overall has the potential to both harm and improve the environment.

HOW CAN AFFECT THE TECHNOLOGY TO THE ENVIRONMENT

I think that through of the changes and living conditions, the increase of the
population, the increase in energy expenditure, the need to increase the
production of food or consumer goods have led to great technological advances
in today's societies. The consequences of this are major environmental problems
such as environmental pollution, logging trees or land development.

Technology and environment

The vast majority of the usual activities in our day-to-day pollution, whether
acoustic, light or atmospheric, whose final receiver is the environment. Every time
we use electricity, means of transport, medicines, cleaning products, heating or
microwave, this cause, even if not directly, polluting waste. The pollution changes
according to a series of factors; such as population growth, the degree of
urbanization, industrial development, mechanization of agriculture or the use of
natural resources. And among all its types, air pollution is particularly important.
This pollution usually comes from the means of transport, industrial emissions or
controlled emissions from the city or the countryside.

Benefits of environmental technology

But technology not only negatively affects the environment, but it can also
contribute to its improvement and may well be an important tool for environmental
conservation. Some examples may be:

 Recycling: the advancement of technology has allowed to increase the

recycling processes of waste generated in different activities and it is still
possible to innovate more in this field
 The technology allows greater technical and scientific knowledge of the
environment, contributing to design and create goods or services that
favor the conservation of the environment.
 Development of new energy forms that are friendly to the environment
such as solar or wind energy
 Develop means of transportation that use more environmentally friendly
fuels
 Develop systems that permit elimination of chemical waste
 Develop systems that control the use of energy at home or in the
workplace

Many of these proposals have to process of development and researched, but

technology can also be an ally to reduce the risks associated with reducing ozone
capacity or carbon footprint.
