INSTRUCTIONS FOR CANDIDATES (PLEASE READ CAREFULLY)

1. This Hall Ticket is subject to the conditions that if ineligibility is detected at any stage, the candidature will be cancelled.
2. Once inside the Examination Centre premises, all candidates will be under surveillance and activities will be monitored. Hence candidates are
advised not to indulge into any unlawful activities which will invite disqualication and legal actions.
3. Candidates must bring Valid Original ID Proof containing clear photograph and signature.
4. Entry to Examination Hall is strictly subject to production of Hall Ticket, Valid Original Identity Proof (which is mentioned in the
application form) and the Photo Copy of the same ID Proof. (Valid ID Proofs: Passport / Driving License / Voter ID / Aadhaar Card with
Photograph / Bank Passbook). ID Proof other than mentioned above will NOT be permitted / accepted under any circumstances.
5. Candidates must also bring a photocopy of the ID proof.
6. The examination will be a computer based Test (CBT)/online. Check the seating plan and Identify the Room/Lab allotted as per your Hall Ticket
number.
7. Pen/pencil, Cell phones, I Pod, portable (external) hard disk, pen drive, data card, pagers, calculators, wrist watches or any electronic devices
are strictly prohibited. No arrangements have been made at the centers for their custody. Violation will lead to expulsion from the examination.
8. Do not bring any kind of wrist watches. All kind of wrist watches are strictly prohibited.
9. Do not carry any article, except Hall Ticket, Original ID proof and Photocopy of the ID proof to prove your identity in the examination hall.
10. Do not attempt to give or obtain irregular assistance of any kind in the examination hall including copying of questions.
11. Improper conduct will entail expulsion from the examination.
12. ANSWERING METHOD: Candidates are advised to go through the Mock Test for computer based Test (online examination). Link for

13. For each correct (MCQ) response, four marks will be awarded. Zero mark will be given for questions not answered. Negative marks will be
given for incorrect response. For every incorrect response, ONE mark will be deducted.
14. JIPMER reserves all rights to verify identity the genuineness of each candidate by taking left index nger impression and snapshot
(Photograph) of the candidate or by any other means.
15. This Hall ticket must be duly sealed and signed by the invigilator.
16. Before leaving the examination hall Photocopy of the ID proof veried and signed with seal of Invigilator shall be handed over to Invigilator.
17. Failure to comply with these instructions will entail expulsion / cancellation of candidature or appropriate legal action.
18. Reporting time will be 08:00 AM. You need to undergo security process at the Test Center and hence to report early.
19. No entry after 09:15 AM under any circumstances, as examination starts by 10:00 AM.
20. Candidate cannot leave before completion of computer based test (i.e 180 Minutes).

This Hall Ticket with the seal and signature from Invigilator at the exam hall must be retained and produced at the
time of counselling and admission.
