Dear Parents,
First, a big thank you!
Thank you for giving me the opportunity to work with all of your wonderful children!
My Name is Logan Milligan, I am going into my first year of teaching , dont worry, I have
been trained and prepared very well through Siena Heights University. At Siena Heights I double
majored in elementary education and special education. While in school I took part in many hours
of observation and clinical work in the schools. I am very excited to start this journey with all of you
and your children. I feel that it is very important to have a great parent-teacher relationship to help
better your students education. Throughout the year I will be asking for parent volunteers to help
with fun activities. If you can make it that would be wonderful, but if not, I understand. We all have
busy schedules!
Since we don’t know each other, I would like to tell you a little about myself. I was born and
raised right here in Hudson. I have participated in basketball, football, and baseball throughout my
whole life. One of my biggest hobbies is going to Michigan football and basketball games. I also
enjoy reading, watching movies, and being outdoors. I have one pet ( a golden retriever) named
Maddie, she is my pride and joy.
Throughout the year we are going to be doing a lot of activities to help enhance your
students learning. One of the biggest events I am looking forward to is getting the chance to go to
the Toledo Zoo as class. This field trip will go along with our unit on understanding the life cycles of
different kinds of animals and plants! I will be sending more information about this event as it
approaches.
Again, I want to express my gratitude towards being able to work with both you and your
child. My goal is to make this the best school experience your child has ever had! I am looking
forward to building a better relationship with all of you as well!
                                                                Sincerely,
                                                                        Mr. Milligan
