Dear Parents,
The School is introducing Happy Schools, Happy Classrooms concept in the school from the new
session. The objective is to keep children happy right from the time they step into the school till they
leave the school campus. We seek your cooperation in helping us in keeping your children happy and
make schooling fun and memorable.
Dates to remember

25 March New Session (2019-20) begins for Classes I to V.
(Timings 7:45 a.m. to 1:45 p.m.) Students to come in proper
summer uniform.
24th April G. K. Test for Classes I to V.
(Syllabus of G. K. Test will be given in the diary.)
25th April Elections for Junior House Students’ Council.
25th April to 27th April Scholastic Book Fair. (In the school auditorium)
27th April Parent-Teacher Meeting (Timings - 8:15 a.m. to 12 : 15 p.m.)
[Meeting will be held roll no. wise in three separate batches –
08:15a.m. to 09:30 a.m., 09:30 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. and 11:00 a.m. to
12:15 p.m.] Please check the school diary for the roll no. provided to
the students.[Bus facility will be available from Harishankar Puram at
08:00 a.m., 09:30 a.m. and 11:00 a.m.].

Eligibility Criteria for Contesting:–
- Studied 2 – 3 years in school. (For Class III) (Including years in Junior School)
- Studied 3 – 4 years in school. (For Classes IV to VI)
- Academics - ‘ A+ ’ Grade (In all the subjects)
- Co-curricular Activities – Participation atleast in one school activity/ inter school activity – eg. – Speech,
Debate, Cultural Activities, Assembly Presentation, Outside School Participation etc.
- Regularity & punctuality – Attendance 75% - Neatness – Uniform (Overall).
- General Personality – Spoken English, Behaviour, Obedience, Co-operation towards classmates,
teachers and school in general.
- Students who have been elected as a member of students council once, will not be allowed to contest the
elections. This will help to provide equal opportunity to all the students.
TIPS FOR PARENTS
1. Parents to kindly attend all the Parent-Teacher Meetings to keep a track of their child’s progress. The
attendance of the Parent-Teacher meetings will be marked.
2. Ensure that your child reaches five minutes before the given time at the bus stop.
3. Fill up “My Page” and “Medical Profile” in the students diary along with passport size photograph
as soon as it is issued and return it to the class teacher duly attested.
4. Note books should be neatly labelled, Books should not be hard bound or covered with brown cover.
Notebooks to be covered with the prescribed colours at the edge.
Hindi – Yellow, English – Pink, Maths – Orange , Science- Green, EVS / S.St. – Blue.
5. Kindly label the belongings of your child to avoid inconvenience.
6. Parents to read the diary carefully before calling school for any clarification. Please follow all the rules and
regulations mentioned in it.
7. Mothers make sure you pack sumptuous lunch for your child according to the lunch menu along with chopped
fruits to eat after P. D. A. period or in the bus. Place a napkin along with the tiffin.
Kindly note- –
1. G.K. for all the classes and Sanskrit/French for class 5th will not have Terminal Examinations.
It will be evaluated regularly through Class Tests.
2. No term exam will be held for computer also, it will be evaluated through practicals and class
tests.
3. Art and craft will be evaluated through the class performance, no term examination will be held.
4. For examination pattern, kindly go through the school diary.
