Dear Sir,

Good Day!

I am a 4th Year Student of Mindanao State University, General Santos City taking up
Bachelor of Science and Accountancy. Our university has allowed us through our great
efforts to undergo our internship this June 2019.

The world deserves accountants that will work with it in driving for economic development,
and the choice we make today, in choosing the firms we will intern in, will define whether
we will be one of those individuals that can contribute into our society. Which is why, with
great willingness, I would like to apply for an accounting internship in your company. An
individual who is highly attentive, proactive, self-motivated and passionate about
developing my career in the field of accounting. I want to apply my learnings about
accounting standards and principles into the actual job environment and to use my
computer skills in relation to Microsoft functions. I believe that through this experience, I
will acquire valuable knowledge and skills to complement the concepts and theories I
have learned in school for my betterment through exposure to the actual organizational
works. I also possess good communication skill and a very high degree of commitment
to my work and its ethics.

As a thriving institution, I hope that hand in hand with my university, you will be able to
assist me not only as an accountant in the future but also as a professional that brings
stable environment for the general welfare of those around me through the regulations
and the ethics shaped by your company.

Thank you for your time and consideration, and I look forward to hearing from you.

Dear Sir:

Warm greetings of peace and solidarity!

It is a mandatory requirement to all graduating BS Accountancy students to undergo a 250-

hour internship in any partner institution. This program is an applied academic practice under joint
faculty and employer supervision for students to substantially expose them to practical application of
business, accounting and auditing concepts.

Previously, the institution had deployed on-the-job trainees in your agency. With the periodic
documentation of their tasks, responsibilities, learning experiences and training, the undersigned
believed that you contributed to the development of our students capable of working effectively as
entry-level accountants. Your participation in realizing the purpose of this program is deemed
significant to our student’s preparation to join the Accountancy Profession. Hence in this letter surface
my request to accommodate another intern in your company.

The undersigned would like to introduce Ms. Herwin Mae M. Boclaras. She is a bona fide BS
Accountancy student of Mindanao State University, General Santos City. She signified her interest to
be trained by your firm in the area of accounting and related jobs. As her academic adviser, I have
had the pleasure of viewing the applicant’s satisfactory academic performance in his all-inclusive stay
in the program. I am pleased to attest that she can work with initiative and less supervision. You can
expose her to any functions that will develop better attitude and good values which are necessary
behavioural attributes of an effective and responsible employee.

I sincerely hope that you will give his application favourable consideration. If I can be of any
further assistance, or provide you any further information, please do not hesitate to contact me via

“A Century of Excellence”, signifying a meaningful milestone for an organization that has
served generations of Filipinos. PNB stands proud as an institution that offers stability

In April 2018, PNB issued USD300 million in Fixed Rate Senior Notes under its Medium
