5th IPTEX 2018 &
3rd GRINDEX 2018
5thIPTEX- 3RD GRINDEX EXPO concludes
on a positive note
The 5th IPTEX-International Power Transmission Expo and 3rd
GRINDEX-International expo on Grinding and Finishing Process
2018, the two consecutive exhibition were held in Mumbai,
India from February 22 to 24, 2018 at BEC-Bombay Exhibition
Centre. These dedicated expos unveiled an assemblage of latest
products and services displaying most comprehensive emerging
technology, latest innovation and developments with best
practices from the engineering, machine tools, and the Grinding
industry.
With over 90 exhibitors from 9 countries, the gear and grinding
exhibition attracted over 3500 visitors from various industries
such as auto component, automobiles, capital goods, defence,
aerospace and railways. the event attracted impressive number of
delegates and visitors from the Tier I , Tier II and Tier III cities such
as Pune, Nashik, Aurangabad, Satara besides visitors from the
neighbouring states of Gujarat, Karnataka, Tamilnadu, Telangana,
New Delhi and others.
Expressing his views over the success of the event, Mr. Matt
Croson President of AGMA- American Gear Manufacturers
Association said, AGMA’S First International Course held in India
on “The Steels for Gear Application” had a Fantastic response
and “We are happy to share that the expo, the fifth in IPTEX- and
the third GRINDEX in the series, was a success. The exhibitors
were happy to note that the show managed to attract visitors from
smaller manufacturing hubs from northern and western region.
This further gives impetus to our idea that the niche machine
tool segment are the way forward to address the requirements
of the Original Equipment Manufacturers, as well as component
manufacturers in the Tier I , Tier II and Tier III cities.”
The Expo turned out to be fruitful both for the visitors as well
as the exhibitors, and most of the exhibitors were satisfied with
the quality of the crowd and the business opportunities that the
exhibition provided them.
Continuing with the idea, the next edition of IPTEX-GRINDEX
Exhibition will be held in Pune in 2020.
