Colonial mentality - is the thinking that foreign talents and products are always the good, the better,
and the best, and that the local ones are of poor or no quality at all.
Crab mentality - bitter view at competition—that if they cannot win, then no one will.
Filipino time (tardiness) - When the invitation says the program will start at 7pm, it is expected to
begin at 9pm.
Gossiping - Filipinos are fond of talking about others’ business .
Complacency - Ignoring or not following simple rules and instructions.
Being onion-skinned or too sensitive - too prideful which usually results to being oversensitive.
Epal (Attention Grabbing) - It is natural for Filipinos to attract attention by standing out as we are a
fun and people loving race.
Ningas cogon - They are excellent at starting projects or idea execution. But after a few hours or days,
they lose the excitement, and they become too lazy to finish.
