Manufacturing Notes

 The Techniques used to manufacture the first off panel that has been used to
substantiate the construction are to be repeated identically for all manufacture

DAMAGE ASSESSMENT
Damage assessment follows the inspection stage and is the decision process by which:
• Defects are recorded by imperfection type as defined
• Defect location is considered against its vicinity to other structural elements and to other defects
• The appropriate course of action is taken.

Not preferred due to the higher tack of the prepreg that causes difficult handling at layup.

Manufacturing method should be specified on production drawing of the part

Ensure that the routing of job cards for manufacturing

The additional
process control panel shall be produced

Failed process control test may only be disregarded when the root cause of failure has been
established

Protective clothing should be worn

Handle only in conditions of good ventilation

Prevent contact with the skin and clothes

It is recommended to minimise risk. Periodic checks on the efficiency
