I. Proposed Business Title
Cafélicous: Adding Moments of Perfect Sip
II. Description
Filipinos are avid coffee drinkers. Having to spend the day in the coffee
shops became a daily necessity for local coffee addicts. Coffee shops are known
for being considered as a perfect place to recharge your mornings and relieve
your days; a place to dream of as you try to escape the daily stresses of life
and just a comfortable place to meet your friends or to read a book, all in one.
Mingled with the relaxing ambience that’s infused with gradient aroma of roasted
premium coffee beans,
Cafélicious is an example of a coffee shop that are ideal for weekly
business meetings, daily luncheons with friend colleagues, and even these days
that call for your momentary solitude. Cafélicious aims to offer an atmosphere
free of worry and satisfactory service through the enjoyment of a good cup of
freshly brewed coffee done the delicious way grounded in love and filtered with
care. It highly aims to offer its customers the best prepared coffee in the area.
Cafélicious doesn’t only offer different kinds of coffee but also variety of
hearty snacks and hot meals. Cafelicious’ objectives for the first year of
operations are to become selected as the “Best New Coffee Bar in the area” by
the local restaurant guide and to turn in profits from the first month of operations.
The mission, vision, goal and objectives can be attained by pleasant Store design
that will be both visually attractive to customers, and designed for fast and
efficient operations. Also, employee training is practiced to insure the best coffee
preparation techniques.
III. Type of Business Model
Cafélicious is more of a service type of a business. With that, it will use a
face to face interaction with their potential buyers. Most importantly, it highly
concerns with worker’s performance that will help in the attainment of a good
reputation. Though, it is a traditional type of a business, technology and social
media also plays an important role. With the use of an official page and site,
products or the business itself can be known,
The biggest advantage of having a traditional commerce is the
communication. The use of selling techniques is essential to make a customer
buy the product. On the other hand, in e-commerce, the main disadvantage is
that sales methods and skills cannot be applied. There’s no face-to-face
communication when you can explain to the customer why they should buy your
product. Also, the problem might occur with the terms and conditions which
customers have to read before making a purchase.
Lastly, the most important disadvantage is waiting for the product. When
customers purchase something online it takes days, even weeks before they
receive it.
IV. LOCATION OF THE BUSINESS
The proposed location for the Cafèlicious will be along F. Pimentel Ave., cor.
Dasmariñas St., Daet. The proponents see this location as a good starting area for
the business because of the nearness to the target market. The Cafelicious will be
placed near workplaces such as banks and hospitals, and schools. It is on the center
of commerce and easy to reach from anywhere. The proponents also plans on
having drive thru since Cafélicious is situated along the main road where most
vehicles traverses thus it can easily attract passersby that can be a potential
customer.
