Mazda 2 CZY217

A vehicle inspection was performed on a 2009 Mazda Mazda2. The mechanic scanned for fault codes from various control modules. A code was found in the instrument cluster for invalid data received from the restraints control module, which was intermittent and faulty. Additionally, a code was found in the restraints control module for the driver seatbelt pretensioner having an open circuit, which was also intermittent. No other fault codes were detected.
