The dining facilities designed for a residence
    depend greatly on the dining habits of the
  occupants. The dining room may be large and
formal, or the dining area may consist of a dining
  alcove. It may also be a breakfast nook in the
kitchen. Large homes may contain dining facilities
Function:
  The function of a dining area is to provide a
   place for the family to gather for breakfast
   lunch, or dinner in both casual and formal
 situation. When possible, separate dining area
