Product Description Applications
Kao-Tex 2000 tapes and ropes are made from • Gaskets
alumina-silica ceramic fibers that are reinforced with • Oven and furnace door seals
an organic carrier fiber for added strength and • Joint packing
stability, making them an excellent choice for • Mold and tube seals
industrial applications. The nature of the engineered • Steam pipe wrapping
fibers provide excellent strength, resulting in a • Cable and wire insulation
physically resilient material well suited to high • Hydraulic and electrical line protection
temperature industrial applications.
• Ceramic tapes
- Steel wire reinforced
- Fiberglass reinforced
• Ceramic fiber ropes
- Twisted
- Round braided
- Square braided
Kao-Tex 2000 tapes and ropes exhibit excellent
chemical stability resisting attack from most corrosive
agents. Exceptions are hydrofluoric and phosphorous
