BU-JPIA President Resignation Notice

John Kenneth Rempillo resigned as President of the Junior Philippine Institute of Accountants – Bicol University Chapter effective on a specified date. He decided to resign due to personal family matters that would prevent him from devoting sufficient time and effort to the organization. The stress of being a student leader combined with his family issues would damage his mental health. He would rather focus on his studies and preparing for the CPA licensure exam next year. However, he offered to impart his knowledge to the succeeding President. He thanked the adviser for his guidance and mentorship over the past few months.

PROF. MARK FRANCIS G.

NG, CPA, MBA

Adviser, BU-JPIA
Bicol University

Dear Sir Mark:

Please accept this letter as a formal notice of my resignation as President of Junior Philippine Institute
of Accountants – Bicol University Chapter, effective [Resignation Date].

After a period of consideration, I have concluded that this is the decision that is best for my well-being,
and for the Organization, as well. Recently, there have been personal family matters that I believe will
prevent me from devoting precious time and effort to the Organization in the future. Not only will this
restrict the time I could offer, but the emotional baggage that this brings in addition to the stress of being
a student leader proves to be too much for me to handle for the time being and I think will significantly
damage my mental health. Because of this, I have decided that I would rather dedicate my time to my
studies and readying myself for the CPA Licensure Board Examination next year but if you would allow it,
I am willing to impart the knowledge I’ve accumulated so far to the succeeding President.

Please know that I am very aware that I have disappointed you but under your guidance, I have no doubt
that BU-JPIA’s fantastic reputation will continue years into the future. Thank you for the advice and
mentorship these past few months. It has been my greatest privilege to work with you.

Sincerely,

JOHN KENNETH REMPILLO
