MANGUANGAN

On a very far lang named concepcion, there was a families who first lived on this place. The family of
Sawan, Pitong , Guinamay and they are all a native tribe called manguangan. This families were all living
peacefully and together, they begin to create a feast called Mais-mais. Their way of celebrating that, is
to prepare several foods coming from their crops to feed their people or visitors.

They want to show the happiness through laughing at the dance of this native tribe. One day, the time
has come to divide their lands as to be the legacy for their childs. Then, the time of elders has come to
an end. Suddenly, the chaos of these families begin. Those child from each family has deep fights and
misunderstanding about the divided crops in their land. Unfortunately, the problem becomes wider and
they all separated that there way of living has never been like before.

Many days had passed on, the problem has never settle to this families until the bisaya people reach
their land. The family who first lived the land has been mixed with different breed and tribes from the
other places. Because of this rampant spread, the influence of bisaya became wider and the tribe
manguangan is never been talk about. Until the day and time has change in their surrounding like the
economy begin to grow.

The Government give respect and pay attention to this growing native tribes around. Through this
action, The Dar, have survey the tribe and equally divided the land which belongs to them. By the
government response to this problem, the long misundertanding of each family find its resolution and
the government impost a rule and select one leader for each native tribe who will lead the people to
maintain and continue the peace through each member.

Now, the member of this native tribe is called Indigenous people. The peace and unity is in their hands,
the good things happening so fast, started to continue and became wider. Just like the mais mais the
have maintain it and continue which symbolizes their unity. Today, the native tribe has given a lot of
opportunity and benefits in the government. From barangay to national there is a representative for
each native tribe. ����
