D. Draw a symbol for each of the philosophies. Explain your symbol.

1. Essentialism
- Essentialist prgrams are academically rigorious. The emphasis is
on the academic content for students to learn to lean the
bassic skill for fundamental r’s, reading, riting and rithmitic.

2. Progressivism
- Progressivist accept the impermanence of life and inevitability
of change. So I drew a tree as for a symbol of progress and
change.

3. Perennialism
- Perrenialist curriculum is a universal ne on the view taht all
human beings possess the same essential nature. And
perennialist teachers teach are lifted from the great books.

4. Existentialism
- Its main concern is to help student understand and
apprecaite themselvesas unique individuals who accept
complete resposibility for their thoughts, feelings and actions.
5. Behaviorism
- Behaviorist schools are concered with the modification and
shapingof student behavior by providing for a favorable
environment, since they believe that they are the product f
the environment.

6. Linguistic philosophy
- It develops the communication skills of the learner because
the ability to articulate, to voice out the meaning and values
of things that one obtain froms his or her experience of life and
the world is the very essence of man.

7. Constructivism
- Constructivist sees to develop intrinsically motivated and
independentblearners adequately equipped learning skills for
them to be able to construct knowledge and makes meaning
of them.
