COURSE DESCRIPTION
This course provides discussions on collecting, analyzing, and reporting data collected in the field. Students learn a variety of field
techniques for sampling plants, insects, and vertebrates. In addition to the field techniques, students learn to relate field data to ecological
processes. Students read scientific literature that presents field data and write scientific reports.
COURSE OBJECTIVES
This course envisions graduate students who specialized in general science to:
1. Understand the ecological environment of every organism;
2. Appreciate the beauty of nature; and
3. Identify means on how to preserve the natural environment.

COURSE METHODOLOGIES
This course shall adopt the lecture-discussion, online, modular method in those topics that are highly theoretical, group discussion for
critiquing individual outputs (per session), problem solving, case analysis, individual readings or independent learning, educational field trip as well
as research symposium.

COURSE EVALUATION
Since the requirements of the course are all challenging, the professor has assigned the median score (from the total score) to be equivalent
to 85.00 % and 98.00 % for student who obtained a perfect score. The professor uses linear regression to find out the grade of students.
