PLANT GROWTH DEVELOPMENT
AND MOVEMENT

INTRODUCTION:
The movement of the stem is depend on the rays of the sun. If the rays of the

MATERIALS:
10 pcs of Mongo cutter
3 Cans ruler
Soil
Shoe box

PROCEDURE:
1. Soak mongo seed in water overnight
2. Make a small holes at the bottom of each cans
3. Fill the cans with soil
4. Plant 10 mongo each cans
5. Put the 1st can inside the shoe box and cover it
6. Put the 2nd and 3rd can outside of the box
7. Place the 2nd can in horizontal position after five days
8. Observe the three cans daily

ANALYSIS OF RESULT

In the movement of the stem in the first can are where the rays of the sun which is
located at the other side of the box so the stem grow to the other part of the box. In
the second can the movement of the stem is curve because at first the position of can
is vertical so thee grow of thee stem is vertical too, but after five days thee position of
can is horizontal but the movement of stem is still vertical so that the stem is curve. In
the third can it grow normal because there’s have no obstruction to grow.
