I am who I am =

John 11:25/Exodus 3:5-6/3:1-14

Good evening everyone. The context told us that God revealed himself to Moses who He is ! God said to
him, I am the God of your ancestors-( katigulangan ) the God of Abraham, Isaac & Jacob, I have seen how
cruelly my people are being treated in Egypt. I heard thier crying, I know thier sufferings, So I come down
to rescue them from the Egyptians & to bring them out of Egypt. = Now I'm sending you to the King of
Egypt so that you can lead my people out of his country.= Moses replied, when I go to the Isralites & say
to them, the God of your ancestors sent me to you, If they ask me, what is his name? What can I tell to
them? = God said " I am who I am ".you must tell them; = For us its very difficult to understand about the
name of the Lord God - I am who I am in the O.T.alone, because, there is no face can discribe of Moses to
the people, or there's no clarification about himself who he is?.but there conversation is the only
witness that he is God. But the presence of his love, grace & mercy prevail to Moses, giving him
power,security & comfort of his heart & mind.= we are just like the story of the three frogs inside the
cave.(1) kagamay ra sa langit.(2) dako2x kay naay buwan ug bituon.(3) dako kay saylo paman sa tumoy sa
yuta. Now we go to the N.T.

= In the N.T.- Jesus introduce himself saying " I and my father are one " john 10:30/ and he who see
me,see also my father (Jn.14:9).then Jesus said to them " I am the way, the truth and the life no one
come to the father except by me."jn.14:6.= We believe it or not, Jesus is the way of forgiveness, way of
reconcileation, way of comfort & way of security & salvation.

Finally, I am who I am was clarified by Jesus himself, he said (1) I am the light of the world,he who follow
me shall not walk in darkness, but have the light of life. (2) I am the bread of life, he who comes to me,
shall never hunger, and he who believes in me shall never thirst.(3) To those who lost the love once by
death, Jesus comfort to them saying " I am the resurrection and the life, those who believes in me will
live, even though he die, he live again.that is our living hope in the Lord Jesus Christ, he is the way, truth
and the life ! Amen & amen !!!
