BIMestiMate is a response to the growing needs of the construction industry.
It is the first innovative tool for preparing the cost estimate, working in BIM
technology. Calculating the cost of the building project is one of the areas
where BIM technology can be used for fast and accurate valuation.
The valuation method using BIM, clearly reduces the time needed to develop
a simplified and detailed calculations based on data collected from the BIM
model. This is important when we are dealing with the revision of the model,

QUANTITY TAKE-OFF
BIM technology enables full automation of measurement operations, due to
the fact that all of the elements (structural or finishing) are included in the
calculation in the form of quantity, material and technological data. BIMestiMate
is the only available system that uses direct connection between a model and
data from a BOQ and vice versa. The process of BOQ execution is automatic,
easy, accurate and intuitive. The system eliminates errors made during
calculation of amount of works which are the main cause of inappropriate
cost evaluation. Moreover, the system significantly reduces the time needed to
prepare the bill of quantities.

Step 1 - Download the BIM model.
Step 2 - Check the model in terms of compliance of individual types
of works, compatibility names of types of works and their
components and also the units.
Step 3 - Automatic download the quantity of works from the elements
of the model.
Step 4 - Identify the structure of the bill of quantities (BOQ) on the
basis of the data stored in the BIM model. The view can be
represented by: types, layers, zones.
Step 5 - Determine the order of the BOQ items.
Step 6 - Determine the unit price on the basis of the prepared bill of
quantities.

COST ESTIMATING
SiEfficient and transparent methodology to develop the cost estimate. Moves
to the cost estimate structure all quantities obtained directly from virtual BIM
models – buildings, installations, engineering objects - and their rapid and
accurate valuation at any stage of construction project.
With the quantity and description of the item, you can choose one of the
possibilities to calculate prices:
• manually enter the price resulting from its own analysis or from the
subcontractor offer,
• valuate the price based on price bulletins, program works with all
popular price bulletins available on the market,
• make a detailed valuation based on the cost estimate system resources
and detailed price lists.
The result is the unit price of the item type. All elements with this type will be
automatically priced based on calculated unit price and quantities collected
from the BIM model.

SCHEDULING
The schedule module is easy-to-use, no-frills, but with critical path which is
dedicated to the specifically construction industry. Automatically calculates the
duration of the task using the information on the amount of work, resources
and defined productivity. Instantly creates a Gantt chart based on defined
data, which significantly reduces the time to develop schedule.
Moreover, the program allows you to set the level of accuracy by the user. The
schedule may be modified during the various stages of the investment process
and decide about the order of execution the individual works. The results of
the financial schedule are presented in an attractive graphical form.

CHANGE MANAGEMENT
This option is an excellent tool to monitor changes introduced by the designers
for the next stages of work with the model. With this feature, we can not only
identify changes depending on their type (change of parameters, removed,
added, change of properties) but also take them into account in the calculation
of costs and schedule of works.
Change management is now easier than ever. Changes in the BOQ and in
the cost valuation are included automatically on the basis of data provided in
revised BIM models.
