3. Learn the basic dance step and basic fundamental positions
4. Execute the basic dance step and basic fundamental positions of arms and feet

IV. Abstraction
1. From the videos shown and the readings. Define what folk dances are.
2.How many folk dances have you identified? What are those?
3. How do you describe these dances?
4. Name other folk dances that you know
5. Are you familiar with the basic steps of these dances?
V. Application
Divide the class into 3 groups. Each group will be given 10 minutes to practice the basic
fundamental positions of Arms and Feet. They are going to Perform and Execute the following
steps with music.
VI. Assignment
By Group: Bring the following materials used in Tinikling folk dancing
1. 2 bamboo poles ( 9ft long)
2. 2pcs of Board or bamboo about 30 inches long and 2 inches thick
