On The First Day of Christmas

The document is a retelling of the Christmas carol "The Twelve Days of Christmas" across twelve days, with each day listing the gifts received from the true love. On each successive day, the gifts from the previous days are repeated in addition to the new gift of that day. By the twelfth day, all the gifts from the previous eleven days have been received. The retelling questions some of the more unusual gifts like a partridge in a pear tree and suggests they would make for terrible gifts.
