Concept of a Husband
The modern marriage is based on sexual compatibility, love and romance but
once upon a time marriage has been looked upon as a primary purpose of founding and
maintaining a home and family. A marriage consists of two people which traditionally is
a husband and a wife. Although modern times have changed this perception and
marriage is viewed in a different light. There are a lot of ideals concerning being a wife
and being a husband but it all comes down to personal preference regarding the
individual. As women we have standards or expectations either consciously or
unconsciously about who our husband will be in the future.
Ideal husbands are probably nonexistent but let us not be bitter about that fact. I
know it's a fact because well, nobody's perfect. Moving on from that initial thought, a
husband should be fist and foremost kind and caring. Being married to a person with a
rude attitude is imaginably a living hell. If he's intelligent that wouldn't hurt too so that
talking to him would be interesting. Studies also show that intelligent men tend to cheat
less on their partners compared to others. Supporting that clause, a husband should be
loyal. A husband should also be supportive and patient not a narcissistic, insecure, ego
driven creature. Someone who treats their wife like a cherished companion and not like
a paid house girl. On the physical traits, a husband should ideally be taller than their
wife. It would be a bit awkward of the woman is taller than the man, let's be honest. It's
alright of they're not that handsome but they should at least have a level of charisma.
Ideally fair skin with an aristocratic nose and a charming smile that makes your heart
skip a beat. Someone who is family oriented, god fearing, and a husband who has
ambition.
There are different standards of husbands for different types of people. What
works for others might not work for you. At the end of the day we must first know
ourselves better before we settle on what we really want. Choosing a husband or
marrying someone in general is a huge milestone in our lives regardless of our status,
religion or even sex. What's important is that we choose wisely and love ourselves first
before we venture out to love others.
