Splice Design

This document summarizes the design of splices for three structural sections: a 100x100x10 angle section, an ISMC 150 section, and an ISMC 300 section. For each section, it calculates the cross-sectional area and force to be carried. It then specifies plate sizes and fillet weld thicknesses to transfer force through each component, and verifies that the provided weld length is sufficient.
