RGD CLOSED TO BUSINESS.
Due to the fumigation exercise being undertaken by the Accra Metropolitan
Assembly (AMA) at selected markets in Accra including the TEMA STATION
MARKET, to enable the Assembly disinfect all the markets and other public places
as part of measures to curb the spread of CORONAVIRUS(COVID-19 ) in Accra,
The Registrar-General’s Department (RGD) is hereby closed to the business
Community and the General Public today Monday 23rd March, 2020.
The Decision is to protect the health of both staff and clients who patronize our
services, as we are unable to determine the harmful effects of the chemicals being
used in the fumigation exercise.
The Department will therefore resume full operations tomorrow 24th March, 2020,
from 8:30 am to 4pm.
Any inconvenience is deeply regretted.
