Liquid ring pumps

1 Fields of application 3 Design

Multi-stage, horizontal liquid ring pumps, with self-priming Radially-split horizontal multistage pump casing. Radial
capacity. MZ and MA pumps are used for pumping of clean impulsion and suction flanges and liquid ring impellers.
slightly aggressive fluids, not containing abrasive or solid
particles. Pump for horizontal installation.

The MZ and MA Series of KSB ITUR may pump a wide range 4 Designation

MZ series with ball bearing at the drive end and friction
bearings at non-drive end. This series can be supplied as ATEX compliant.

MA series with ball bearings on both sides of the shaft. The

MA series also includes friction bearings inside the pump.
Ball bearings are greased for life. Friction bearings are self-
lubricated by pumped fluid.
6.4 Coupling

Flexible, rubber plug type coupling without spacer.

Coupling guard: metallic coupling guard is supplied as
standard.
