TIGACIDC P serial is our newly-developed AC/DC and pulse products, whose main
character is thatit can notonly weld stainless steel, alloy steel and carbon steel and other
nonferrous metals withDC function, butalso it canweld aluminum andalloy aluminum with
‘AC function. Forinstance, for welding skateboard and bicycle made of aluminum. The total
power exchange rateof the machines are over 85%, and they are energy-saving. The main
types are AC/DC 200P, AC/DC 250P and AC/DC315P.
The use and development of inverter technology in welding benefits from the
invention of high power electronic spare parts, esp. !GBT, the employ of which greatly
reduces the volume and weight of main parts, e.g. transformer and anti-electricity, thus
making our machines able to work under HF 100KHZ. We also employ PWM and CPU-
contro! to make the welding current stable, accurate and easy to adjust; and make the
machines convenient tooperate, and avoid the disturbance ofelectric magnetism:
AC/DC welders are made with invertertechnology, and they arelighter, smarterand
more efficient compared with traditional ones; while compared with imported ones, they
are cheaper, and has stronger electric net. The most characteristic one is the use of twice
inverter technology and output of pure square wave, which makes the arc more straight,
heat more concentrating, anti-clearance stronger and wider clearance wider etc to make
sure the highquality of themachines.
ACIDC P serials are equipped with foot switch, thus liberating the workers' hands,
and they can adjust the current with their foot freely. As aresult, at the very beginning or
wire-adding, we can speed up the current; while atthe end slowdown the currentin order
to form a good welding seam. In a word, the use of foot switch helps raise the welding
efficiency and reduces the welding difficulty as well as make sure of the welding quality. If
you need pulse welding, we have foot-control switch withthe function of pulse welding.
Inverter welders are also equipped with TIG torch, and cable of suitable length, hose
and water-cooling connector. Besides, there are also other spare parts for torch, such as
ceramic nozzle, collet body, short cap andlong cap. The size and quantity of themcan see
in the enclosed packing list. Ifyou need more spare parts, youcan order separately

07 WELDERS. USERS'MANUAL.TIG SERIALCAUTIONS &PRE-CAUTIONS
Environment
1) The operation shouldbe in acomparative dry environment, the air humidityno more
than 90%
2) The around temperature should be between-10C and 40C.
3) Avoid working under the sunor in therain, do notlet in wateror rain .
4) Avoid working under the circumstance of dust orair with corrosive gas.
5) Avoid doing CO2 working underthe condition of strong air flow.
1, Safety tipsTIG welders are equipped with over-voltage and over-currentand over-
thermal protection circuit, when the output voltage, output currentand inner temperatureis
over the ratedones, the machine will stop working automatically. But over-use (e.g. over-
voltage) may damage thewelding machine, sopay attention tothe following tips:
1) Make sure of good ventilationTIG weldersare large technicalwelding machines, and
has huge currentthrough it when working, and naturalair flow cannot satisfy its cooling
need, so weput two embodiedfans to coolit and makesit work normally. The operator
should make sure the fan notblocked or covered, and the distance between the welderand
surroundings shouldn't beless than 0.3m.
The users should always payattention to the flowing condition ofthe machine, because
itis veryimportant for the working quality andworking year ofthe machine.
2) No over-load!
The users should pay second attentionto the allowed max loading current (comparative
load cycle) , and make surethe welding currentnot surpass the allowed max. Over-
current may obviously shorten the working year of themachine, and evenmay fire the
machine to pieces.
3] No over-voltage!
The power voltageis listed inthe “Main Parameter” table, generally, the automatic
compensating circuit may make sure the current is inrated range. Ifthe voltage surpasses
the allowed value, the machine maybe damaged. The operator shouldbe familiar withit
and take certainactions to preventit .
4) Every welder hasan earth screw, and earth connecting mark. Before operation, please
choose a cablewhose section ismore than 6mm2, make the casefirm earth connectingto
avoid accidents which may be caused by electricity-leaking .
5) If the working time of thewelder surpasses the standard load cycle, the machine may
suddenly enter protection condition and stopworking, which showsthat the machinehas
been over thestandard load cycle, and over-heating works the thermal control switch, thus
making the machine stop working. Meanwhile, the red pilotiight on the panel board ison.
Under this circumstance, you needn't pulloff the plug, so thatthe fan can continue working,
thus cooling hemachine. When thered light is off, the temperature decreases tothe
standard range, thenyou begin toweld again.
WELDERS. USERS'MANUAL.TIG SERIAL 08MAITENANCE
WARNING
All maintenance and checking work shouldbe carried out under the circumstance
of light off. Make sure the power plug ispulled off before you open thecase.
1) Use clearand dry compressedair to removethe dust incertain period, ifthe machine is
working under heavy-pollutedenvironment, clear itdaily. :
2) The pressure of thecompressed air shouldbe in asuitable level lestit damages thelittle
parts in themachine.
3) Check theinner circuit connectionin the weldingmachine, and makesure the
connections are rightand firm (esp. plug-in orparts) ;if there isrust or loose, use the
sand-paper to rub off the rust or oxidized coating and re-connectit firmly.
4) Avoid water orwater vapour intothe inner ofthe machine, ifhappens, please firstdn
and then measure the Insulation situationwith Omen meter. (including the joints and joint
vs case) .
Do not continue until you makesure there isno abnormal phenomenon.
5) If themachine is notused for longtime, please putit into the original box andkeep it in
dry condition
PRE-CHECKING
WARNING
Blind experiment and uncautious checking may cause trouble for formal repair
A\e make the breakdown area bigger. And the inner bare parts of the machine
have voltage that may cause dangers if ithas power supply, so any direct or in
direct touch may cause accidents of electric shock , and heavy shock may even cause
death!
Caution; During the maintenance period, if notauthorized, any personalwrong
