EXPO 2019 NATIONAL APEX CHAMBER
Interna onal Exhibi on and Conference on
Logis cs & Warehousing
12th - 14th December 2019
Expocentre Noida, Sec 62, NH-24, Delhi NCR
Event Description
• Artificial Intelligence is an intelligence displayed by machines, in which, learning and action-based
capabilities mimic autonomy rather than process-oriented intelligence.
• Logistics 4.0 will focus on the Augmentation and Automation implications in the Indian Logistics and
Warehousing Industry.
• At every level of logistics, AI has a role to play. Warehouses utilise AI to automate and interconnect the
internal processes within. Advanced processes, such as geocoding and location intelligence are being
used for optimum performance. The B2B and B2C sectors also use AI-based systems to allocate
vehicles and choose the most optimised routes for vehicles.
• Many different eCommerce companies have already started utilising the robots to automate the
process of product sorting and packaging. Robots are programmed to pack a product and sort it based
on the delivery requirements.
• Chance to meet Business delegates & Visitors, Govt. Authorities, Industrial Associations, International
trade consulates, etc.
• Ideal Platform for B2B, B2G and Exim related enquires
• Looking towards the future, Logistics 4.0 has the potential to pave the way for a new, more advanced
conception of the value stream that involves autonomous vehicles (aka driverless cars), automated
warehouse operations, and perhaps even the elimination of warehouses altogether in favor of
predictive deliveries with full, zero-lead time integration into smart production processes.
Indian Logistics & Warehousing Artificial Intelligence Conference
• High-ranking experts from industry and research will be talking about key themes and the latest trends
Logistics and Warehousing.
• The emphasis will be very much on practical, successful solutions, thus giving maximum benefit to
strategists and managers working in procurement, production, warehousing and dispatches.
• Participants can come along and listen to the discussions, or take an active part themselves. The
Summit is a great way of gathering valuable knowledge to apply in practice.
Industry In India
• The Indian logistics sector is on a big growth tide. According to the domestic rating agency
ICRA, Indian logistics sector is expected to grow at a rate 8-10 per cent over the medium term.
This is an improvement over the compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of 7.8 per cent at
which the industry grew during the last five years.
• The logistics industry of India is currently estimated to be around US$ 160 billion.
