WAHAN KON HAI TERA?
Raju just released from jail after imprisonment of one and half years with few words
in his mind “fir se soch le raju, wahi shahar jo tere naam pe jhuka hua tha aaj yehi teri hasi na
udaye. Vo jo sadke jinpe tu raja banke ghumta tha kahi aaj tujhe chor na samje” and then in
the confusion whether to go back to the village or not to go back he takes his final decision
that he’s not going back to the village and he starts walking on the road opposite to his village
not thinking what is the destination. And then the music starts “waha kon hai tera musafir,
jayega kahan?”
GUIDE TO SWAMI
One fine day fully exhausted and tired and empty stomach Raju was sleeping and a
Swami passed by him and that Swami gave him his cloth and when nearby villagers saw Raju
in Swamy’s clothes they assume that he some great saint. And people started believing him
and his preaching’s and even Raju seeing the response from the people he also started giving
advices to the villagers and the villagers were very happy with the suggestions and advice.
They always reached to him during problems like one problem mentioned in the movie is
when a villager’s daughter is not ready to marry and Raju the saint convinces her for
marriage. In this way Raju gained the trust of the villagers.
THE FLASHBACK
The movie goes into the flashback when Raju’s mother and Rosie come to know that
Raju has left the village here. Raju’s mother being upset with Rosie, she explains everything
to Raju’s mother into flashback starting from her own history and then going towards her
marriage with Marco. Later Marco and Rosie visit Raju’s village where Marco wants to
explore new caves. Marco is completely indulged in his work so Rosie feels very sad and
unhappy and she sits in guesthouse all the time. Completely fed up with the work of Marco,
Rosie asks Raju guide to take her on the tour of Udaipur. While on the tour Raju comes
across the hidden talent of Rosie where she is an excellent dancer. Rosie tries to poison
herself and when this news reaches Marco he is not concerned about her and leaves of for
work.
AAJ FIR JEENE KI TAMANNA HAI
Here after the arguments between Rosie and Marco Rosie again decides to give up her
life but Raju is her savior. Raju takes her out of her comfort zone and takes her for some
enjoyment to live out her life and have a change in her life so that she could stop being
unhappy. When she is enjoying this Time being a free bird she sings “aaj fir jeene ki tamana
hai”. Raju guide also guides her and helps her to discover her talent in dancing and he
encourages her to practice dancing and become a professional in dance.
PIYA TO SE NAINA LAAGE RE

While helping Rosie to achieve this success he even had a fight with the villagers and
he even had to lose his relationship with her mother but still he does not give hope and they
both together work to words dance. Finally, Rosie becomes superstar and famous dancer and
her name is known as Nalini for the audience and this is how superstar Nalini is born. Raju
starts taking shows for Nalini and she performance in this shows and they start earning huge
amount of money. The song which she had a dance in the show was “Piya Tose Naina Laage
re”.
GAATA RAHE MERA DIL, TUHI MERI
MANZIL
What is the Bollywood movie without a love story? Here begins the love story of
Raju and Nalini. There starts some chemistry between these two lovebirds they are seen
singing song on “Gaata Rahe Mera Dil Tu Hi Meri Manzil”. This two couples live together
happily although unmarried they are happy enough with each other there is a good love story
going on between the two and also their livelihood is going good, they are earning nice
amount of money and now since she has become the superstar they have friends among the
high-class also and they are seen partying with them. But wait where is the twist?
GUIDE IS GUIDED TO JAIL
There are misunderstandings created between Raju and Rosy and Raju starts feeling
that rosy is no more in love with him. Meanwhile, her husband Marco sends gift to her which
was rejected by Raju and few days later, Marco asks banker to hand over the entire jewelry to
Rosy. Here, Raju fakes the signature of Rosy on the document and Marco observes that this is
a fake sign and sends police to file a case and arrest Raju. Raju gets arrested and faces one
and half years of imprisonment.
ONCE A GUIDE ALWAYS A GUIDE
The movie comes back to the present and Raju is preaching the villagers and helping
them to solve their problems. This year there is scarcity of rain and village is facing drought.
Villagers fight with each other for food and water, so Swami sends a message through a
village and asks him to stop this immediately otherwise he’ll stop taking food. But while
transmitting this message, villager communicates a wrong a message and says that if you
don’t stop fighting then Swami will go on fast for 12 days till the rain arrives. All the
villagers are mesmerized by the gratefulness of Swami and to his word and trust in villagers,
he goes on fast for 12 days. The news of great Mahapurush fasting for rains spreads across
villages and all the neighbor villagers gather to take his blessings and in this his mother also
visits. There is a reunion of his mother and him at this point in the movie. This news is also
published in newspaper and Rosy comes to know about Raju, who is now Swami and visits
him.
Finally, on the 12th day it rains and here in back of the mind Raju thinks “lagta hai aaj har
icha puri hogi, par maza dekho aaj koi iccha hi nahi”
And Raju’s transformed soul Swami rests in peace forever.
