LESSON PLAN GRADE 7

I. Class description
 There are 25 students at the age of 12, grade 7, class 7A - at Quang Trung
upper- secondary school. They have learnt English for 3 or 4 years. Some
of them are good at English. They’re interested in learning this language.
They get on well with each other in class.
II. Objectives:
- By the end of the lesson, the students will be able to:
 get the overview about the film “Titanic” and some kinds of film
 use the lexical items related to the topic “films” to make sentences by using
the present simple tense
 read for general, specific and detailed information about the short review of
the film “Titanic”
 talk about the films you would/ wouldn’t like to see (its plot, its character,
etc)
 play the role of a character in some kinds of film
 make the short interviews about the films and the character in the film you
like
III. Time: 45 minutes

 Course book “Tieng Anh 7- Tap 2”, posters, cards, chalks, board, pictures,
projector, hand-outs.
V. Anticipated problems:
 Problem 1: Students may have some difficulties on using vocabularies or
phrases to express their ideas about topic.
Suggestion: Give Students some words or phrases related to the topic and
some structures to help them take it easier.
 Problem 2: Time may exceed.
Suggestion: Be flexible; reduce the number of questions to concentrate on
the main content of the lesson.
