I. Class description
There are 25 students at the age of 12, grade 7, class 7A - at Quang Trung
upper- secondary school. They have learnt English for 3 or 4 years. Some
of them are good at English. They’re interested in learning this language.
They get on well with each other in class.
II. Objectives:
- By the end of the lesson, the students will be able to:
get the overview about the film “Titanic” and some kinds of film
use the lexical items related to the topic “films” to make sentences by using
the present simple tense
read for general, specific and detailed information about the short review of
the film “Titanic”
talk about the films you would/ wouldn’t like to see (its plot, its character,
etc)
play the role of a character in some kinds of film
make the short interviews about the films and the character in the film you
like

V. Anticipated problems:
Problem 1: Students may have some difficulties on using vocabularies or
phrases to express their ideas about topic.
Suggestion: Give Students some words or phrases related to the topic and
some structures to help them take it easier.
Problem 2: Time may exceed.
Suggestion: Be flexible; reduce the number of questions to concentrate on
the main content of the lesson.
