Main Project :
1. Dual Axis Solar tracking system with SEPIC converter
Objective: To design the efficient mechanism that converts Solar energy to Electrical energy involving solar
tracking system in all directions
The efficiency of the tracking system is maintained by SEPIC (DC-DC converter).
Mini Projects :
2. Accident Preventive Steering Gripper
Objective: The developed project prevents the movement of the vehicle if the vehicle driver is suspected to
drive without having a control on the steering of the Vehicle by using Flexiforce sensor and in addition to it, it
was integrated with alcohol detector MQ-135
3. Temperature based fan speed controller
Objective: The aim of this project is to control the speed of the DC Fan by the Arduino microcontroller
programming along with LM35 temperature sensor
Projects still in Research :
4. Safeguarding the Fisherman on IMBL
Objective: To help the fishermen in indicating the right and safe place for fishing and to be alert with country
borders and also be aware with other country vessels that nearby (where fishermen can be alert about other
country men's presence around them in the waters).
It includes various techniques for GPS tracking like QGIS and also to keep track on nearby vessels by Laser
range finding mechanisms.
In-plant training
1. Organization: Cheran Pumps Limited for duration of 7 days.
Title : Study of Pumps and motors
Studied about the design and working of the pumps and also acquired a deep knowledge regarding the different motors
involved in practical applications
2. Organization: Salzer Electronics for duration of 3 days.
Title : Study of manufacturing switches and relays
Acquired knowledge regarding various switch manufacturing such as Rotary, load break etc., and also about the design
of relays and connectors

1. TELK – Transformer manufacturing company in Kerala.
They explained us what are all the testing methods and assembly processing and manufacturing unit of transformer.
And also explained us the uses and importance of Transformers.
2. JVS Electronics – Relay manufacturing company in Mysore.
They explained overview of Numerical Relay, importance of relays and it’s functional operations
Idea Presentations / Workshops
Presented the idea on the title of “Safeguarding the Fishermen on IMBL with GPS” and was awarded “BEST
PERFORMING INSTITUTION” by “INNOVATION OF ENGINEERING TECHNOLOGY-IET’16”, STATE LEVEL
