What happened to the earth after entrusted to man?
As the talk progress, I found
myself lost in my own thoughts, I felt the need to listen to whatever the speaker is about
to say because my gut says if I won’t I’ll be missing something that will make a
significant change in my life. In the beginning, God created perfection. Just look at how
amazingly beautiful the world is, it is indeed a paradise. But what happened to the world
after it has been entrusted to man? Forests became denuded, the rivers and lakes died,
man polluted the air and the seas, and the water became unsafe. The whole biodiversity
is shrinking and it’s as if humanity doesn’t even care, it’s as if it is oblivious of the
destruction it will bring upon itself. Generation by generation, year by year, day by day,
the mother nature is slowly crumbling away and who is to blame for this? The aliens?
People are so inclined in taking care of themselves and getting the maximum
satisfaction that they wanted, they tend to destroy the nature in the process. I am so
disposed of bringing happiness and satisfaction to myself, of maximizing all my
resources to get what I wanted, never being mindful of the consequences and negative
effects it may inflict to the ecosystem, to the nature. I was used to turning on the
television whenever I’m alone in the house but never really watched any of those
television programs, I just let it on while I busy myself with my phone. So much energy
has been wasted for nothing. Before, I thought it is okay to dispose my wastes as long
as there are available trash cans but now, I must really learn how to segregate my
wastes and discard them to their proper disposal. I realized that all of us, especially the
generation where I belong to, must all be mindful and aware of the effects of our
activities to the ecosystem, to the planet as a whole. We are living in a blue planet, the
only place where known life exists in the vast universe. If we don’t change our ways, if
we don’t stop hurting the planet, time will come that our planet will no longer be
habitable for living beings. We are getting so close to the point of no return, Mother
earth has a fever that keeps rising, and her convulsions devastatingly affects us.
Recreate the environment by recreating yourself. The change starts within each and
every one of us, heart by heart, soul by soul, until we’ll be all united in a repulsing
movement of restoring back the beauty of the planet.
It will only take us seconds to be environmental conscious but believe me, it will
cost us the future itself if we do not dispose ourselves to act in this matter. If we do not
act now, if we do not even try to change our ways and make a difference, I’m afraid we
will be facing the end soon, the extinction of our entire race for there will be no more
place for living beings anymore. It will be just the destroyed, chaotic planet that was
once a paradise for all. It’ll be too late to take all things back, to restore what was taken
for granted, to rebuild what is already ruined. Act now.
Factors that makes the Earth sustainable for living
In the beginning, God created perfection. Just look at how amazingly beautiful
the world is, it is indeed a paradise. A home for living beings, a sanctuary of peace and
tranquility. The Earth, for thousands of years, has provided what is needed for growth
and survival of every species, from the crawling ants, leaping antelopes to the fishes in
the sea.
We are living in a blue planet, the only place where known life exists in the vast
universe. If we don’t change our ways, if we don’t stop hurting the planet, time will come
that our planet will no longer be habitable for living beings. We are getting so close to
the point of no return, Mother earth has a fever that keeps rising, and her convulsions
devastatingly affects us. Recreate the environment by recreating yourself. The change
starts within each and every one of us, heart by heart, soul by soul, until we’ll be all
united in a repulsing movement of restoring back the beauty of the planet.
