The HY50 leads 1.L.P.’s total integration approach to power amplifier design.
‘The amplifier features an integral heatsink together with the simplicity of no
external components. Over the years the amplifier has been refined to the
extent that it must be one of the most reliable and robust High Fidelity
modules in the world. The device is terminated with five connections: Input,
Output, Power Lines and Earth.

NOTES:
Under normal use the HY50 will not require additional heatsinking
provided it is mounted vertically, i.e. label facing upwards. The HY5O
must be used with @ split line power supply and under no circumstances
should an attempt be made to run it off a single power line.
‘The output fuse must-be used, and have a rating of 1.5amp quickblow
fuse.
The HYS0 requires no input dr output capacitors.
Owing to the varying load presented by some crossover networks it is
advisable to fit an R.C. series network between the output and 0 volt
terminals. This is done as an added precaution.
