To Whom It May Concern:

taylorketeltas2@gmail.com  “Be somebody who makes everybody feel like a somebody.” As a teacher, my number
one priority is to ensure that all of my students understand how important and
Baldwin, NY  special they are as individuals.

@ms_keteltas  It is with great excitement that I submit my resume to your district for the Elementary
Teacher position. I graduated from Molloy College with a BS/MS in Childhood
Education (1-6) and Special Education (1-6). I am confident that I possess the qualities
and skills that will be a great contribution to your district. Some of these skills that I
believe will be an asset to your district include my dedication, creativity, and ability to
work collaboratively with others.

I am currently a Special Education Teacher Assistant in the Oceanside School District,

working in an Integrated Co-Teaching (ICT) classroom setting. During this time, I have
created and differentiated lessons based on specific academic goals, individualized
education plans (IEPs), and New York State Learning Standards. I have also helped
create and launch an After-School Academy for students who receive Academic
Intervention Services (AIS). I assisted in creating the roster and schedule, as well
crafted lesson plans and brainstormed necessary materials.

In my current position, I have provided students with individualized resources and a

multisensory learning environment to support IEP goals and learning styles. I
implemented different classroom management strategies, including positive
reinforcement and encouragement. While in this role, I have enjoyed promoting a
positive learning experience and instilling a love of learning for my students.

My resume provides further detail on my strengths as an educator, which I believe

would be a wonderful addition to your district. If you have any questions, please do
not hesitate to contact me at 516.417.2896 or at taylorketeltas2@gmail.com. Thank
you for your time and I look forward to hearing from you.

Sincerely,

Taylor Keteltas
