As an independent study school, the idea of students doing work at


home isn’t a foreign concept, but student choose to come to our
school instead of a virtual school because they need face to face
interaction. These last few weeks, I’ve been challenged with
assessment integrity as I have students who want to continue to
engage and turn in work. It is challenging to provide the same
testing interventions and supports I previously provided for my EL
students such as oral directions and test annotation, so I had to
collaborate with other staff members and understand the options
to me in order to provide a secure testing space with those features.
