Proposal

This document outlines an experiment to determine the mechanical advantage of a second system of pulleys. A second system of pulleys will be constructed and used to analyze the mechanical advantage and velocity ratio experimentally. The experimental values for load and effort will be measured and used to calculate the mechanical advantage and velocity ratio, which will then be compared to the theoretical analytical values.

Objective:

To find the mechanical advantage of second system of pulleys.

Problem:
To demonstrate and analyze mechanical advantage & velocity ratio of the second
system of pulleys and finally to compare the theoretical and practical values.
Methodology:
A second system of pulleys will be constructed with the help of wheels, upper &
lower blocks and ropes. The analysis of the experimental values of load and effort
will be performed to calculate the mechanical advantage and velocity ratio. Finally,
the results will be compared with analytical values.
Comparison of Analytical and Experimental Values:

Conclusion:
The second system of pulleys was constructed and the mechanical advantage as
well as the velocity ratio was observed experimentally and compared with the
theoretical values.
