Essential Question
 How the weather is affected by different weather

Anticipatory Set
 Student will open the weather app and google search the weather of a city around
the world. They will than answer the five questions regarding the different cities
and information they will find on the weather channel app

Teaching: Activities
 Bell work
o Student will open the weather app and google search the weather of a city
around the world. They will than answer the five questions regarding the
different cities and information they will find on the weather channel app
o Five Questions
 1. What is the name of your city
 2. What is the weather in degrees for the next five days
 3. When is the next day it will rain
 4. What is the different wind directions of the current day
 5. Draw a picture of what the radar looks like today
 The students will than watch this video about weather and help understand the
different weather movements

 Introduction to the Project
o Like the Bell work the students will monitor the different weather of five
different cities around the world, they will than compare the different
weather patterns of the five cities.
o The students will than set up this information on a poster bored and
present it to the class

o 3-2-1 Activity about the lesson that was learned today and about the
project if they still have questions about it
