Report accompanying the estimate for Improvements to Makthal – Anugonda
road from Km. 0/0 to 10/0 in Mahabubnagar district.
Amount of Estimate: 100.00 Lakh
The Makthal – Anugonda road is an important major district road, connecting
state high way SH 18 such as Mahabubnagar – Raichur road and Anugonda village via
no. of villages like Karne, Kahanpur, Chityala and Panchadevula Padu. The famous
Dattatreya Temple is on this road at Paspula on the bank of river Krishna. The Bheema
project Lift Irrigation scheme cultivation is done all along the road. It is also an important
road useful for all categories of people and farmers to transfer agriculture products to
Makthal, Gadwal, Atmakur market yards.
The road is damaged badly and formed number of pot holes and much
inconvenience to the vehicular traffic. The last renewal of the road was done in the year
2000-01.
Hence the estimate is prepared with the following provisions to make the road
traffic worthy condition.
1. Scarifing the BT surface in bad reaches
2. Providing BT patch work with 40 mm metal
3. Providing Wet Mix macadam 150 mm thick
4. Providing prime coat over WMM
5. Providing 25mm thick MSS by hot mix.
6. Providing Earth work to Berms
7. L.S. provision such as VAT, Q.C. Price escalation and unforeseen works etc.
The estimate is prepared based on the current SSR of 2008-09 with
MORT&H specifications.
An early sanction to the estimate is solicited.
