Meeting 2

The client, Liz, was happy with the project timeline and two completed modules. Liz liked the use of graphics, photos, and videos aimed at the 9-15 age range. Audio, video, and voiceovers would be used to deliver the learning content. Liz enjoyed the drag and drop activity for emotional facial recognition and feedback for incorrect responses. The design was found to match the company aesthetics and age range. Liz agreed with addressing feelings of shame, helplessness, and need for support network. Suggestions were made to introduce the trauma before examples, provide feedback for non-examples, and add a prompt about a child coming into care and understanding their emotions.

Review the project timeline with your client

Liz is happy with the timeline and is impressed that we have two “completed”
modules.

Discuss the strategies in delivering the content

Aiming for the 9-15 age range. Likes the use of graphics, photos, and videos

Talk about the media you will use

Audio, video, voiceovers, articulate

Describe the learning modules (not necessarily align with the goal and objective
flowchart)

Likes the drag and drop for emotional facial recognition. Part of the emotional literacy.
Likes the feedback for incorrect responses.

Did you find something new with regard to client requirements, thoughts and
perceptions about the project?

Design matches company aesthetics. And matches well with the age rage that will be
completing the activity. Liz will loop UFC’s technology officer into the conversation to
discuss design and infrastructure.

What does the client agree and disagree?

1.2 Video: Liked the video. Likes the support system

Likes that we have used scenarios

Is happy that we have zeroed in on some of the specific needs that the existing child
will be feeling that Liz had not thought of:
● Shame
● Helplessness
● Need for a support network

What suggestions does the client make regarding the project?

Introduction before the trauma. Similar to the little boy finding his support network. Quick
introduction.

Wants the non-examples to have feedback on them as well. Happy that we have
addressed shame and helplessness.

Ponder prompt “...Child in care into your home.” Goal being to help the existing kid to
come to terms with their emotions as well as understanding what the kid coming into
care will be feeling.

Module 1.2
Circular “...comfortable with and help you with your emotions”.
