Step 1

Open JMP data file

Step 2

Click on the upper red triangle and Create New Columns


Step-3

Label the Column Name and Click ‘OK’

Step-4

Right Click on the newly created column and Click on ‘Formula’


Step-5

Click on Transcendental and select ‘Root’ (you may practice the other functions as well)

Step -6

Select GMAT and click ‘Apply’ and then ‘OK’


Step 7

Click on ‘Analyze’ and Select the newly created column to get the distribution

Step-8

Click on the red triangle to display horizontally and fit the normal curve.
Step 9

To copy the results, click on ‘JMP Home Window’ and click on ‘selection’

Step 10

You may copy and paste the results in a word document
