Do you like sport?

Well to be honest, I would say that I am actually quite keen on playing sports and badminton
is the most sport I usually play in my freetime.
It not only releases stress and refresh my mind, but it also gives me a sense of solidarity
with my friends.
In addition, I am pretty font of playing badminton which is due to the fact that it has all the
benefit and strengthen all my muscles equally.
How often do you play sports?
Well, I would have to say that it really depends on the situation. For instance, if I have time,
then it is quite possible that I will play badminton every day.
You know, this sport improves my health and gets me into shape. It not only releases stress
and refresh my mind, but it also gives me a sense of solidarity with my friends.
Whereas, if I don’t have much time, it’s more likely that I will play badminton at the weekend.

What sports are most popular in your country?

Well, it goes without saying that there is quite a variety of sports in my country. But the most
popular would be swimming.
And the explanation for this could be that it not only releases stress, and refreshes your mind
but also benefits all your muscles.
Another popular team sport would be football, simply because it’s the king of sports.
Additionally, there are other kinds of sports like badminton and volleyball which are the
popular subject teaching in physical education.

Do you think it is important to play a sport?

Well actually, I guess that in many ways it is quite important; especially when you consider
that many people choose sports as hobbies.
In fact, sport is a crucial exercise for your whole physical body and your mind. Firstly, it helps
you get into shape and build strength because it provides an all-over body workout, as
nearly all of your muscles are used during practicing. Secondly, all daily stress and hardness
are set aside when you come to sport centre where your brain is totally released.
Is there any difference between exercises that boys and girls usually enjoy?
Actually boys and girls tend to take up exercise differently due to their differences in physical
ability. Girls seem to prefer practicing several sports such as yoga or aerobics to keep fit,
while boys often join strenuous exercise like weightlifting to build muscle.
Do you think children get enough exercise these days?
I’m not really sure about the answer because I think it depends on each individual. However,
I suppose that children may not participate in enough join sport activities due to TV or
computer invention. They spend almost their spare time staying at home to watch TV or play
online games rather than going to sport centre to take up exercise.
How can parents encourage their children to take more exercise?
There are many ways to increase children’s participation in exercise. I think that parents
should send their children to sport centre to let them discover which sports they might like.
Watching sport programs is sometimes a good way to get children started taking up
exercise. Moreover, parents can encourage their children to join several sport events to
provoke their passion for sports.
