Narrator: Hi everybody! Today, I’ll be telling you the story of David!
Well…
*Narrator gives a brief background of the story David became king*
YP’s: We already knew that!
Narrator: Ay joke, alam niyo na yung story?
YP’s: Yes!
Narrator: Oh, edi mabuti! But do you know who Mephibosheth is?
*YP’s act confused*
YP’s: No
Narrator: No? Well then, let me tell you the story of Mephibosheth
YP’s: Mephi – what?
Narrator: Mephibosheth
YP’s: What?
Narrator: Sige, tawagin na lang natin siyan Meph, oks lang?
*YP’s agree*
Narrator: Ok then… So after several years of being king, David lead
the nation of Israel to prosperity…

Scene 2:
*David and his constituents have a banquet*
David: Enjoy lang,kain pa, marami pang kanin. Inom pa, marami pang
tubig!
*Banquet ends*
Banquet people: Thank you sa pakain, mahal na hari!
David: Stay muna kayo dito, kung gusto niyo.
Banquet boy: Sorry po, tinatawag na ako ng kaibigan ko eh
David: Ay ok sige sige, eh ikaw ngay?
Banquet girl: Pupuntahan ko pa kasi kaibigan ko, sorry po.
David: Ay okay, sige mag-ingat kayo!
David: Hayys, sana all may kaibigan

Scene 3:
Servant: Hindi ba’t may best friend po kayo dati?
David: Si pareng Jonathan?
Servant: Opo
David: Wow, ang tagal na nun! Pero naaalala ko pa nung bata pa kami…
*Narrator narrates David’s promise to Jonathan*
David: I promise to take care of your family
Jonathan: Thank you, bro
David: Gotchu bro

Scene 4:
Servant: Close po talaga kayo ‘no?
David: Oo. Siya nga pala, may natitirang kamag-anak ba si pareng
Jonathan?
Servant: Ay, di ko lang po sigurado
David: Search far and wide! Hanapin niyo ang mga kamag-anak ni pareng

Scene 5
Narrator: are you liking the story so far?
YP’s: Yes!
YP’s: But where’s Meph?
Narrator: Uyy buti naaalala niyo pa si Meph! Well, this is where he
comes in. You see Meph was the son of Jonathan.
YP’s: Pareng Jonathan?
Narrator: Exaclty! However, Jonathan and his father, Saul, died when
Meph was just 5 years old. Making Meph the last of Jonathan’s family.
*Servant looks for kamag-anaks from the audience*
Servant: Sino rito ang kamag-anak ni Jonathan?
*Servant finds Mephibosheth*
Servant: “Mephoshibeth”, is that right?
Meph: It’s Mephibosheth, sir
Servant: Mephoshibeth?
Meph: You can call me Meph
Servant: ok
Meph: Ano pong kailangan niyo, sir?
Servant: well mephibosheth, pinapatawag ka ng hari
Meph: ako po?
Servant: Ikaw lang naman atang may pangalang Mephibosheth. Joke, oo
kadi, ikaw.
Meph: Ay ok po
*Meph follows Servant to David*

Scene 6:
*Meph meets David*
David: Halika rito hijo
Meph: Sorry po sa ginawa ng lolo ko sa inyo, tatanggapin ko po kahit
na anong parusang ibibigay niyo sa’kin
David: Kahit ano?
Meph: Opo
David: Char, Hindi kita pinapunta rito para parusahan,
Meph: Talaga po?
David: Oo, pinapunta kita rito kasi may promise ako sa tatay mo
Meph: Promise po? Anong promise?
David: Na aalagaan ko pamilya niya.
Meph: Ay wow
David: Ibabalik ko sa inyo ang lahat ng ari-arian ng pamilya niyo
Meph: Ay nako po wag na po, nakakahiya po
David; Wag ka nang makulit hijo, nandito na si tito (HAHAHA)
Meph: Lol ok po, boomer
David: at mula ngayon, sabay na tayong kakain
Meph: Ok po, ,tito boomer

Scene 7:
Narrator: David, through the years did not forget to keep his promise
to his dear friend, Jonathan. And even though they aren’t together
anymore, he still shows his gratitude by taking care of his family.
David made a new friend in thanksgiving.
Servant: Sana All!
