Area of observation Blended learning and the future of education. How blended learning can
(focus) change education in the future.

With reference to MOE outcomes for KG, Select when applicable

What related MOE standards, outcomes, or Los were being addressed in the video?
How did you cater for learners with special needs, and differentiation? (if applicable)
How did the teacher implement the (your area of focus)?
What was the goal of implementing this strategy (your area of focus)?

To clarify those questions above I will demonstrate the outcomes. First, according to MOE
classified in the video was using tools of technology in the lecture hall and the several uses of
technology that might assist student’s studying and understanding.

Overall aim and context of the lesson (What did students need to know before implementing this
strategy or lesson? What topic comes you expect to come next and how did today’s lesson prepare
students for that? Or/ How do you expect students to perform after this (area of focus)
implementation?)

On the other hand, using blended learning is identical to an expansion of what students can
learn in a lesson that helps of technology. In addition, students use technology as a learning
tool. Before applying blended learning, students need to be comfortable and familiar with the
knowledge of technology studies and the way of using it correctly. Moreover, u saw that the
instructor used mixed learning by directing students to learning centers. For instance, in the
reading center, students used the iPad to use the application for reading articles and
concentrate on keywords. However, the instructor assists them and clarify the reading if they
needed to. To achieve goals is to have independent students who capable to study and be able
to work independently.
Describe

Who is the lesson for?

Where did the lesson take place?
What was the teacher aiming to achieve in her lesson with a focus on your area of observation?
What experiences did she provide to the students to help them to achieve the aims for them?

The lessons take various learning centers, all with a different action such as several people make
use of technology tools such as the smart tablets, whereas others not. In addition, instructors
accomplished the aim, by gaining a lesson at different learning centers, so nowadays, using
modern technology such as PCs, laptops, smart devices like iPads. So, students depend on
themselves to carry out the activities with no complication and the teacher’s intervention, on
the other hand, a student's in group activities will assist them by questioning with clarification.
Analyze

Were students excited, always occupied, and remained on task during the lesson?
Why do you think the students responded the way that they did?
How well did her teaching relate to the students’ prior understanding (of your area of focus)?

By analyzing the Students were enthusiastic to work and contribute by supplying the instructor
with highly efficient competitions and exercises that are gratifying to learn. Moreover, some
students joined in reading and alternating reading articles and phrases, which prepared them to
perform well and learn from each other. However, I remarked that the instructor did not clarify
the method to use the technology earlier for starting, but I think she did so in progress since the
students were not informed of the method of using them.
Appraise

Explain the nature of the experience from the students' perspective (based on your observation)

Did the lesson meet the main goal of (your area of focus)?

I suppose it was a very accomplished and achievable capability for students because they knew
difficult and appreciated. In addition, I noted this by their passion to perform with the parties or
individual and finishing the work they were assigned to.
Transform

How might you enhance student learning of this lesson in the future (with a focus on the area of
observation)?

What are the implications for teachers’ professional practice of helping students to enhance their
learning in this particular way (with a focus on the area of observation)? (i.e. what skill will the teacher
have to develop or learn? What professional development will she have to undertake?)
In my opinion, I liked seeing this lecture and understood the feeling of the students, their excitement,
love for learning. So, I believe if I get a group of students with this desire of excitement and enthusiasm, I
would like to create some modifications such as selecting proper activities for each student level. Also,
imagine that the instructor needs to realize the student’s skills to use technology in demand to find a
decent career and an excellent consequence in return.

How did the teacher implement the (your area of focus)?
What was the goal of implementing this strategy (your area of focus)?

The standards of MOE that attended in the video are cultural identity, diversity, and
encouraging children's learning. In addition, the subject of conversation in the video is to
illustrate the use of the difference in the classroom, to clarify an example was mentioned, and
that there are different approaches for students when responding to questions. Moreover, the
students can use the method that comfortable to help them. While in the second video, it
involves processes that assist student learning, such as showing images of the student on the
wall if the student follows the laws, and the instructor displays the pictures and he is doing this
to inspire them to continue.

Overall aim and context of the lesson (What did students need to know before implementing this
strategy or lesson? What topic comes you expect to come next and how did today’s lesson prepare
students for that? Or/ How do you expect students to perform after this (area of focus)
implementation?)
The use of variation in the classroom is very significant as it improves the student to use more
than a few sources to express himself in requiring answers and this is a great reinforcement
from the instructor. In addition, these efforts will create student self-confident and comfortable
to participate.

use of differentiation in the classroom is very worthy because it supports the student to use
various sources to express himself in asking responses and this is a great strengthening from the
instructor. This makes the student self-confident and comfortable to participate.
Analyze

Were students excited, always occupied, and remained on task during the lesson?
Why do you think the students responded the way that they did?
How well did her teaching relate to the students’ prior understanding (of your area of focus)?
The students were very excited about the class and I think this is due to the way the instructor uses them
that affected them feel comfortable and their participation is more and improved.

Appraise

Explain the nature of the experience from the students' perspective (based on your observation)

Did the lesson meet the main goal of (your area of focus)?

From the students' point of view, the lesson was very interesting to them, and we can learn this through
their interaction and work. The opportunities provided to them to express their feelings helped the
lesson succeed.

have to develop or learn? What professional development will she have to undertake?)

The teacher and research should find ways to support successful child learning, and we have
seen this through the teacher’s use of differentiation in his classroom, which supports the
student to participate in every comfort.
