Lick 6 (Intervallic)

MARTIN SAYS:
No licks package by me would be complete without at least one or more wide interval
based licks! As with a lot of these type of licks I do, this one is based on wide spread triads,
that players such as Steve Morse or Eric Johnson use a lot. The concept is to take any triad
of any inversion and raise the middle note by an octave.
The example concludes with a Bebop-esque altered phrase, which uses chromatic
enclosures to embellish the chord tones.
