RE: DECLARATION OF COMMUNITY QUARANTINE AND
GUIDELINES FOR WORK ARRANGEMENTS
In the interest of the service and pursuant to the declaration of our
President Rodrigo Roa Duterte, that Metro Manila is placed under
“Community Quarantine”, Maine City employees shall observe the following
guidelines regarding work arrangements:
1. Office work hours shall be observed. From Monday –Thursday, office
hours shall be at 8am-7pm, and on Friday, 8am-5pm.
2. Saturday (half-day) shall be a day-off of all employees.
3. Employees who are required to report for work on their scheduled day-
off shall be entitled to 1.5 days compensatory time-off.
For clarification purposes, as explained by DILG Secretary Eduardo Ano,
those who are living outside Metro Manila shall be permitted to enter as
well as leave the area as long as they show proof that they are working in
Metro Manila. In lieu of this guideline, may we require that you bring your
company ID as you travel to and from work for check point purposes.
We encourage everyone to be hygienic and healthy in this situation. May
we also observe the following office regulations:
1. Upon entering Maine City premises, clean your hands with alcohol
which place on the desk/table of the Security Guard.
2. Wear face mask, if possible.
3. Upon entering an office within the building, have the habit of cleaning
your hands with alcohol. We will be placing an alcohol in every office.
4. Do not come to work if you have a fever or experience the symptoms of
COVID-19. Make use of your sick leave/s and upon reporting to the
office, please provide a medical certificate as proof of your absence.

The alternative work arrangement shall be adopted until further
notice.
This memorandum shall take effect March 16, 2020.
