Position Title: Software Quality Assurance Analyst

About Us:
The Luminous Educational Foundation was established in 2016 with the aim to contribute to the development of the
community with the provision of quality education. A university is being established under this foundation with state-of-the-
art facilities and educational technologies to provide education meeting international standards.
The Department of Educational Technologies is looking for Software Quality Assurance Analyst with diversified interests in:
 Organization Quality Management
 Software Quality Assurance
 Software Testing

Position Purpose:
 To provide assistance in organizing, planning and implementing strategies of Quality Enhancement Cell (QEC)
 To develop and execute exploratory and regression tests to ensure product quality
 To design and implement tests, debug and define corrective actions. Also, review system requirements and track
quality assurance metrics (e.g. defect densities and open defect counts)
 To monitor all stages of software development to identify and resolve system malfunctions to meet quality standards
 Main Responsibilities:
 Development of policies regarding Quality Enhancement Cell (QEC) processes
 Prepare reports, analysis of primary data and analysis of secondary data, with improvement areas identification
 Content development for the website and department marketing material
 Review requirements, specifications and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback
 Create detailed, comprehensive and well-structured test plans and test cases
 Estimate, prioritize, plan and coordinate testing activities
 Identify, record, document thoroughly and track bugs
 Perform thorough regression testing when bugs are resolved
 Develop and apply testing processes for new and existing products to meet client needs
 Monitor debugging process results
 Track quality assurance metrics, like defect densities and open defect counts
 Stay up-to-date with new testing tools and test strategies

Skills:
 Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools and processes
 Experience in writing clear, concise and comprehensive test plans and test cases
 Hands-on experience with black box testing
 Strong verbal and written communication skills

Experience:
Proven 3-4 years' relevant work experience (preferably in university-related software quality assurance)

Education:
BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related subject (preferably BS degree in Computer Science and an MS
degree in Quality Assurance) from HEC recognized institute
