Merry Christmas or Happy Sabbath!

12/25/2010

The truth is God's word as we rightfully divide it line upon line, precept upon precept. Jesus was
born in a manger, however was the birth of Jesus this time of year?

Lets read Luke 1

26And in the sixth month the angel Gabriel was sent from God unto a city of Galilee, named Nazareth,

27To a virgin espoused to a man whose name was Joseph, of the house of David; and the virgin's name
was Mary.

28And the angel came in unto her, and said, Hail, thou that art highly favoured, the Lord is with thee:
blessed art thou among women.

29And when she saw him, she was troubled at his saying, and cast in her mind what manner of
salutation this should be.

30And the angel said unto her, Fear not, Mary: for thou hast found favour with God.

31And, behold, thou shalt conceive in thy womb, and bring forth a son, and shalt call his name JESUS.

32He shall be great, and shall be called the Son of the Highest: and the Lord God shall give unto him
the throne of his father David:

33And he shall reign over the house of Jacob for ever; and of his kingdom there shall be no end.

34Then said Mary unto the angel, How shall this be, seeing I know not a man?

35And the angel answered and said unto her, The Holy Ghost shall come upon thee, and the power of
the Highest shall overshadow thee: therefore also that holy thing which shall be born of thee shall be
called the Son of God.

So, you see Mary was not pregnant on the 6th month and therefore she could not have given birth
during this time of year for the fact that it takes a woman to conceive a child after the 9th month.

Let us continue to seek God's truth in scriptures Luke 2 and Matthew 2 for righteousness and
understanding of God's holy word. (Psalm 119:144 & Jeremiah 9:24)
Matthew 2 tells us the time of year Jesus was born and about the star in the east.

1Now when Jesus was born in Bethlehem of Judaea in the days of Herod the king, behold, there came
wise men from the east to Jerusalem,

2Saying, Where is he that is born King of the Jews? for we have seen his star in the east, and are come
to worship him.

3When Herod the king had heard these things, he was troubled, and all Jerusalem with him.

4And when he had gathered all the chief priests and scribes of the people together, he demanded of
them where Christ should be born.

5And they said unto him, In Bethlehem of Judaea: for thus it is written by the prophet,

6And thou Bethlehem, in the land of Juda, art not the least among the princes of Juda: for out of thee
shall come a Governor, that shall rule my people Israel.

7Then Herod, when he had privily called the wise men, enquired of them diligently what time the star
appeared.

8And he sent them to Bethlehem, and said, Go and search diligently for the young child; and when ye
have found him, bring me word again, that I may come and worship him also.

9When they had heard the king, they departed; and, lo, the star, which they saw in the east, went before
them, till it came and stood over where the young child was.

10When they saw the star, they rejoiced with exceeding great joy.

Revelation 12:4 tells us that the stars of heaven are angels in Revelation 22:16 and again the supporting
scripture in Isaiah 14:12-13.

Revelation 12:9
9And the great dragon was cast out, that old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, which deceiveth the
whole world: he was cast out into the earth, and his angels were cast out with him.

As for Christmas it never happened according to God's word, but was written that this would be done
by the customs of the people.

Jeremiah 10:1-15 "For the customs of the people are vain: for one cutteth a tree out of the forest, the
work of the hands of the workman, with the axe. "
Happy Sabbath! 12/25/10 is the 7th day of the week (Lord's Sabbath Day)

"It is a sign between me and the children of Israel for ever: for in six days the LORD made
heaven and earth, and on the seventh day he rested, and was refreshed."
(Exodus 31:17)

Hebrews 4
1Let us therefore fear, lest, a promise being left us of entering into his rest, any of you should seem to
come short of it.

2For unto us was the gospel preached, as well as unto them: but the word preached did not profit them,
not being mixed with faith in them that heard it.

3For we which have believed do enter into rest, as he said, As I have sworn in my wrath, if they shall
enter into my rest: although the works were finished from the foundation of the world.

4For he spake in a certain place of the seventh day on this wise, And God did rest the seventh day from
all his works.

5And in this place again, If they shall enter into my rest. (Genesis 2:2-3, Ezekiel 20:12)

6Seeing therefore it remaineth that some must enter therein, and they to whom it was first preached
entered not in because of unbelief:

7Again, he limiteth a certain day, saying in David, To day, after so long a time; as it is said, To day if ye
will hear his voice, harden not your hearts.

8For if Jesus had given them rest, then would he not afterward have spoken of another day.

9There remaineth therefore a rest to the people of God.

10For he that is entered into his rest, he also hath ceased from his own works, as God did from his.

11Let us labour therefore to enter into that rest, lest any man fall after the same example of unbelief.

May you and your household be blessed as you receive God's truth unto salvation.
