 Clutch Control - Test
 SMCS - 3162-081; 3191-081
When testing and adjusting the transmission and power train, move the
machine to an area clear of obstructions, with safe exhaust ventilation
for the exhausts. Sudden movement of the machine or release of oil
under pressure can cause injury to persons on or near the machine. To
prevent possible injury, do the procedure that follows before testing and
adjusting the transmission and power train.
                                                  NOTICE
Care must be taken to ensure that fluids are contained during
performance of inspection, maintenance, testing, adjusting, and repair
of the machine. Be prepared to collect the fluid with suitable containers
before opening any compartment or disassembling any component
               containing fluids.
Dispose of all fluids according to local regulations and mandates.
Before you begin the test, refer to Systems Operation, Testing and Adjusting, "Machine Preparation
 for Troubleshooting".

    4. Attach the 8T-0856 Pressure Gauge (0 to 6,000 kPa (0 to 870 psi)) to test port (1). Operate the
engine in high idle with the transmission control (lever) in FIRST GEAR FORWARD. The
       gauge pressure should read 2265 ± 180 kPa (329 ± 26 psi).
    5. Operate the engine in high idle with the transmission control (lever) in FIRST GEAR
FORWARD. Depress the clutch pedal and wait for two seconds. The gauge pressure should
read 0 to 21 kPa (0 to 3 psi). Remove the gauge.
