The Originals
The Original Ending of The Originals
There was a family known by the supernatural community as the original vampires. The original
vampires were also known as the Mikaelson family. They were the strongest creatures on the
planet, yet their greatest weakness was family. When they first started their journey to run from
their father they swore to each other “always and forever.” And over time they would do
anything to protect each other. Niklaus was the special brother. He had his own way of doing
things. He was also different from his siblings because he was the original hybrid. When his
siblings did something bad or he felt they were wrong he would dagger them for years to teach
them a lesson. Klaus was the worst of them all. His temper was awful, he was merciless, and
vicious. Klaus began to change once he had a child with Hayley Marshall. Their child’s name
was Hope Andrea Mikaelson. Throughout Hope’s entire life there have been many forces of evil
that have gone to New Orleans to try and kill her or take her. And no matter how broken the
family was at the time, they always got together to protect Hope. The last one was the worst of
all, and it demanded more sacrifice to be taken care of.
The last evil being to attack the Mikaelson was a spirit better known as the Hollow. This spirit
was ancient and very powerful. It could infest the minds of people very quickly. The Hollow had
gotten to the most powerful family in New Orleans, the Mikaelson Family. The Hollow was
inside the youngest member of the family Hope. The Mikaelson’s could never allow an ancient
Melia Rebluud
spirit to roam inside of Hope, so they took the magic out and split it between four of the
Mikaelson siblings. Those siblings were Kol, Rebekah, Elijah, and Niklaus. This was the only
solution, however the only problem was they weren’t allowed to get near Hope or near each
other. Bad things would begin to happen. The oldest sister, Freya, performed compex spells.
Freya was the only sibling who was able to go near Hope. Hope would have to stay in New
Orleans with her mother while her siblings left. Elijah and Hayley were in love and he was
always putting his siblings for himself, so to ensure that he wouldn’t come back Marcel
compelled his memories away.
8 years after Freya transferred the Hollow from Hope to the Mikaelson siblings Hope began to
act out. Next thing you know Hayley, Hope’s mother, went missing. Klaus returned to New
Orleans to check on Hope and help find Hayley. He did exactly what he wasn’t supposed to. Bad
things started to happen. Elijah ended up finding up someone he could love. It turns out Hope
kidnapped her mother. Then a group of vampires found her and took her for themselves. These
vampires were special vampires because they didn’t believe that hybrids were natural, so they
took Hayley to take away her wolf side. Freya was going to take away Hope’s wolf side, but
Klaus showed up and had them stuff. There was a guy from Hope’s school, The Salvatore
Boarding School, that she got close with. He ended up being with the vampires and took her to
the house where her mom was at. Klaus showed up to the house, then soon after Elijah showed
up to the house. The woman that Elijah fell in love with was also a part of the special vampires,
so he went to defend them. In the fight, Hayley ended up dying. Luckily, Hope didn’t watch her
Melia Rebluud
mother die, she was passed out. After her mother’s death, Hope was broken. Her mother was her
best friend and she needed her family all together. Hope ended up putting her father, his siblings,
and Marcel in a Chambre de Chasse. A Chambre de Chasse is a location on the astral plane that
is made magically. The people inside are represented by totems. When you find the totem that
describes you, you can destroy it and then leave the Chambre de Chasse. While they were in the
Chambre de Chasse Hope took the Hollow out of them and put it into herself. Also, after Elijah
came out he also got his memories back of his family and most importantly Hayley. The Hollow
was split into four of the siblings for a reason. The Hollow was extremely strong. Now that it
was all inside of Hope, it was taking over her body. The family noticed dark veins on Hope.
These were signs that it was too strong for Hope. They needed to find a way to get it out of
Hope. Klaus took Hope to kill all of the vampires who were associated with those who killed her
mother. In doing that, she ended up killing a normal guy, which ended up triggering Hope’s
curse. Klaus didn’t know what to do, so he took her back to Mystic Falls to receive help from his
former flame, Caroline. Klaus then made a plan to have Caroline’s daughters siphon the Hollow
out of Hope and put it into Klaus. Caroline’s daughters were Gemini twins, so they did have
siphoning powers like their Uncle Kai. After that, Klaus needed to be staked with a white oak
stake to kill him.
The spell started as Hope was turning into a wolf. The spell worked perfectly. And right as Klaus
was going to stake himself, Elijah showed up and tried to stop Klaus. Then Hope showed up,
when Klaus told him to leave she snapped his neck. Everyone was worried about Klaus because
Melia Rebluud
Klaus was known for his bad temper. Even when he had his humanity, he was ruthless. Because
of that, they had to temporarily put him down. While doing that, Elijah had some of the magic go
into him so that it could temporarily relieve Klaus. They then had a celebration to honor Klaus
for being selfless for his daughter. They also then said their goodbyes. Hope said goodbye to her
last living parent, the family said goodbye to their sibling. And Klaus, Elijah, and Rebekah left
their home to do their last thing. The brothers said goodbye to Rebekah, and she left. Then Elijah
told Klaus that he was going to die with him. They then staked each other and both died.
Alternate Ending #1: Klaus Not Leaving
This ending would have made the show boring, but if this were to be a real life situation it would
have been reasonable. In order for the Hollow to be weakened it needed to be as far away from
Hope as possible. The Hollow craved her power, so being near her wasn’t an option. They
decided to split up the Hollow’s magic between four of the Mikaelson siblings. The siblings were
going to be Elijah, Klaus, Kol, and Rebekah. The idea of splitting the magic between the
Mikaelson’s was smart, but they could’ve done better in choosing the siblings. Kol wasn’t
answering anyone’s calls, so Freya said that she would take his place if he didn’t show. Kol did
end up showing, so they went with the original plan. There is a possibility that they wanted to
make sure the magic was in the vampires because of strength, but Freya was a very strong witch.
She should’ve taken Klaus’ place. Freya was the first born and she was raised by one of the
strongest witches ever known. If Freya took his place it could have stopped a lot of problems.
Melia Rebluud
One of the main problems was Hope. Hope herself wasn’t a problem, but she struggled without
her father. She acted out when he wasn’t around. When she was seven her father vanished and
never came back again, he didn’t call, and he didn’t write letters. She used a spell to see her
father through astral projection and she saw him slaughtering people. When she called to him he
told her to leave, she had to have been emotionally traumatized. Hayley told Klaus, “You’re her
fairytale prince.” Can you imagine thinking of your father as a protector and your prince just to
see him literally eating innocent people? If Klaus would’ve stayed behind and let Kol and Freya
go it would’ve benefited everyone. Kol just wanted to be away from his family and spend his life
with Davina. He could’ve gotten that if he took the Hollow. Freya has been trying to sacrifice
herself for her family, and she was willing to take the Hollow, so why not just let her?
Alternate Ending #2: Klaus Not Dying
Near the very end, Klaus took all of the dark magic from his daughter and put it into himself. It
was a very noble act and it was also unexpected from him. When they noticed Klaus losing his
mind and giving up to the Hollow they took some of the magic out of him and put it into Elijah.
This was supposed to play as a temporary relief. After Klaus woke up they had a final
celebration. Everyone was proud that Niklaus was making selfless decisions instead of selfish
ones. In the end, when Klaus went to say his final words to his daughter Elijah told his family
that he was going to die with Klaus. This was just a dumb move, if Elijah was willing to die why
didn’t he just die alone. That sounds super rude, but if you think about it, it would’ve worked

out. In the Vampire Diaries hell was destroyed so those who should’ve gone to hell actually
found peace instead. That means that Elijah and Klaus could have found peace. If Elijah found
peace then he could’ve been with Hayley. All Elijah wanted was his brother to be selfless and his
other younger siblings to be protected. That happened, and the one thing he wanted for himself
was to be with Hayley. He had the chance to have that. Klaus could’ve stayed and helped to raise
his daughter. He could’ve stayed in New Orleans and be there when Hope needed him. I think
that would help Hope with her sanity.
The Vampire Diaries
The Original Ending for The Vampire Diaries
In season eight of The Vampire Diaries the friend group in Mystic Falls figured out that
Katherine had come back from Hell. In order to get her attention they decided to plan Stefan and
Caroline’s wedding. It was a perfect solution because Katherine loved Stefan. They realized that
Katherine had brought Vicki and Kelly Donovan back to help her plan. The people of Mystic
Falls ruined Katherine’s chance at living a decent life in their town. She wanted revenge, so her
plan was to use the Maxwell bell to bring hellfire onto Mystic Falls. She brought Kelly to distract
everyone at the wedding and Vicki was used to ringing the Maxwell bell. It wouldn’t work if a
Maxwell didn’t ring it. The team of people at Mystic Falls decided to just let Vicki ring the bell
because they had a plan. The plan was to let the hellfire come and Bonnie was going to draw it to
Melia Rebluud
the armory. Then Bonnie was going to send the fire back to hell, and then hell would be
destroyed. The only way hell would get destroyed was if Katherine, who was the queen of hell,
was there when the hellfire returned. According to Bonnie, someone needed to be with Katherine
to make sure she was dead. Originally Damon was going to do it. Then Stefan decided that he
was going to do it because he didn’t want his brother to die. Damon then tried to compel Stefan
to leave, and he left but it turned out that Stefan was on vervain so it didn’t work. Stefan actually
just left to go get a syringe. Stefan had the cure, for vampirism, in him so he took it out. Then
brought it back and put it in his brother. After that he got Katherine, when the hellfire was going
to them he then killed her and let the hellfire consume him and her.
Alternate Ending #1: Snapping Damon’s Neck
When Stefan sneaks behind Damon and injects him with the cure, Damon had no idea what was
coming. Stefan easily grabbed Katherine and contained her until the hellfire came. Stefan was
human. Katherine is a 544 year old vampire and she couldn’t escape him. That means that he had
to be very strong. If you are a vampire who has had the cure and you take it out, you don’t
become a vampire again. You begin to age quickly. All the time you spent as a vampire, all the
aging hits you like a truck. I don’t understand why he didn’t keep the cure for himself. And then
when he was sneaking behind Damon he could’ve just snapped his neck. He would’ve fallen out
of the way like he did when he got injected. Stefan then could just pull Katherine to the side and
when the hellfire was coming he could just push her in. I understand that it was nice that Stefan
found peace, but he deserved way more than that. He didn’t deserve just to die in hellfire.

Alternate Ending #2 Matt Donovan
This may come across as rude, but it doesn’t matter at this point. Throughout the eight seasons of
the show the writers kept one character alive and that was Matt Donovan. They killed so many
great characters off so quickly, but Matt stayed. Again, sorry if this sounds rude, but Matt and his
dumb self should’ve died ages ago. The fact that he went on to the Legacies, which is the second
spin-off of Vampire Diaries, is just insane. If Stefan and his week and dying self could hold
Katherine I’m sure he could’ve. Some may argue, well Matt never did anything wrong he was
with his sister and dad. It doesn’t matter. Matt is a part of all of the supernatural stuff just as
much as anybody else. I mean his sister was literally the one who brought hellfire to Mystic
Falls. And if that were anybody else they would’ve probably tried to fix their siblings wrong
doings. He can’t just go and complain about supernaturals all the time and then use them when
he needs protection. I mean there is no way that Vicki was actually in hell. She didn’t live long
enough to go to hell. The most she did was drugs. She wasn’t even alive as a vampire long
enough to kill anyone, she may have tried to kill Elena, but she died before she got the chance. I
am pretty sure that she would find peace. If Damon could find peace, she could find peace. And
anyways Matt could go live in peace with his sister. I feel like he would rather do that then live
out his life with his dad.
