Personal Growth: Interests


Who am I now?

1. Describe a hobby or interest, either in school or outside of school, that you have spent time
developing this year. (Some examples: gaming, art, music, dance, writing, photography,
construction, building engines, hunting, having your own YouTube channel, etc.) My favorite
hobby is playing basketball or any other sports with my friends and family.

2. What do you like about this particular hobby or interest? I like it because you can get better
at playing that sport with others and can get along better with a friend and you can also
meet new people.

3. What kinds of skills have you developed or practiced via this hobby/interest? I developed the
soft skill of responsibility because I sometimes have to be responsible for taking care of my
brother when we go to the park.

4. How has this hobby or interest challenged you to grow? I feel like it helps me get better at
the sport I play because I'm playing with others.

5. If someone else told you they were interested in pursuing the same hobby or interest, what
advice would you give them? I would tell them to pursue this hobby and never give up.

this hobby continuing because my brother can also have this hobby and I will still stay with this
hobby because im a person who likes to play sports and to stay active.
